Fairchild SSFDR S603-S903

The FVIC® - F1000 Virtual Aircraft Data System Interface Cable – is compatible with all ‘Fairchild / L-3’ F1000 SSFDR’s (P/N’s S603-XX00-00, S703-XX00-00, S800-XX00-00, and S903-XX00-00). This ‘software-intelligent’ cable is inserted directly into the front connector of your SSFDR unit, enabling ‘on-wing’ high speed data download using our VADS® mobile computer. Since the resultant raw data file is in L-3 compressed data format (.fdt), customers have the option of using their own decompression utility or our free file decompression services. The complete FVIC® package includes the VADS® mobile computer, FVIC® (interface cable) and FVIC® application software (drivers pre-installed). We offer purchase and rental options to fit your budget, maintenance schedule, and company infrastructure. Using our laptop based technology, you will receive the following benefits:

• No external media required (i.e. – PCMCIA, USB, Optical Disk, etc.). Data is downloaded directly to the VADS® computer and can be analyzed by the same computer with our ‘DAE® for Aerospace’ analysis software
• Data can be transferred wirelessly from the VADS® computer to your command center
• No calibration required
• No additional battery or external power adaptor required. SVIC® is powered directly from the VADS® laptop usb port.
